Common Questions
-
For client, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, and maybe SCSS for styling. For server-side, Javascript/Typescript are highly recommended, since many frontend frameworks and technologies depend on runtimes like NodeJS or Deno (which use Javascript/Typescript).
However, we also support Python and Go if necessary.
-
This obviously depends on the need of the project. React.js (or Next.js) has a large community, and many different technologies that work well with it as a result. Solid.js (or Solid Start) corrects and improves on a lot of things that React.js does, uses a very similar syntax, but is SIGNIFICANTLY faster. Astro is a multi-page framework for building content-rich websites and web apps that need SEO-friendliness. It is the go-to framework that we recommend for many of our clients for building websites. There are plenty of others that fill the gaps you might need for your project (e.g. Qwik, Preact, Vue, etc.), and we are happy to discuss what might best fit your needs.

SQL, NoSQL, and even key-value stores like Redis are all supported. We have extensive experience with SQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
-
We offer both single-payment projects and ongoing membership plans. Single-payment projects are perfect for one-time web development projects like building a new website or redesigning an existing one. Membership plans are perfect for ongoing support for your web development needs.
-
Landing Pages and any projects under $100 have a 30-day refund policy upon completion of the project.
Basic Websites, Advanced Websites, and any project over $100 have a 60-day refund policy upon completion of the project. However, unless we were unable to honor our contract for the project, there will be a non-refundable fee depending on the scope of the project (usually around 20%, will be established before start of project).
-
Project timelines vary based on complexity. Simple landing pages might take 1-2 weeks, while full custom websites or apps could span 4-8 weeks, including design, development, testing, and revisions. We'll provide a detailed timeline in our initial proposal to set clear expectations. Factors like client feedback speed can influence this—based on industry insights, most projects wrap up in 2-5 weeks with good communication [amply.llc](https://amply.llc/).
-
We follow a structured process: 1) Discovery call to understand your needs; 2) Proposal and contract; 3) Design mockups and wireframes; 4) Development and coding; 5) Testing and revisions; 6) Launch and handover. We use agile methods for flexibility, with regular check-ins via tools like Slack or email to keep you in the loop.
-
Yes, we include up to 2-3 rounds of revisions in our standard packages (depending on the project scope). Additional changes beyond that may incur extra fees, but we'll always discuss and agree on them upfront to avoid surprises.
-
We can recommend and set up hosting (e.g., via Vercel, Netlify, or AWS) and help with domain registration if needed, but these are typically client-owned for full control. For ongoing maintenance, we offer optional monthly plans starting at $X/month, covering updates, security, and minor tweaks.
-
SEO is baked into our process—we use frameworks like Astro or Next.js for SEO-friendly sites, optimize images, implement meta tags, and ensure fast load times. For advanced needs, we can integrate tools like Google Analytics or recommend SEO specialists. Performance trends for 2025 emphasize tools like TypeScript and utility frameworks for efficient, scalable sites [unifiedinfotech.net](https://www.unifiedinfotech.net/blog/20-front-end-technologies-and-trends-cios-should-focus-on-in-2025/).
-
Absolutely! We have experience integrating payment gateways (e.g., Stripe), email services (e.g., SendGrid), analytics, CRMs, and more. If your project involves backend work, we recommend Node.js-based frameworks like NestJS for seamless API handling, especially if you're transitioning from frontend tech [dev.to](https://dev.to/preeti_yadav/from-frontend-to-backend-in-90-days-my-honest-journey-beginner-tips-npd).

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, bank transfers, and sometimes crypto for tech-savvy clients. For single-payment projects, we require a 50% deposit upfront (similar to industry standards [bradan.co](https://bradan.co/faqs/)), with the balance due on completion or milestones.
-
We love highlighting our work! With your permission, we may feature your project in our portfolio, case studies, or blog posts to demonstrate our process. We'll never share sensitive details without approval, and you can opt out entirely [bradan.co](https://bradan.co/faqs/).

We're flexible! While we recommend React/Next.js, Solid.js, or Astro for most projects, we can work with others like Qwik (great for fast, resumable apps) or Vue if it fits your needs. Let's discuss—Qwik, for example, excels in static serving and quick startups compared to Next.js [caisy.io](https://caisy.io/blog/qwik-vs-next-js).
